Self Portrait and Portraits Part II
Tips for self portraits .
1- If you’ve got a remote trigger, that’s usually a better and more controllable than trying to use the self-timer.
2 - If you’re taking photos in a studio, use a mannequin for light testing: Much easier than guesstimating!
3 - Use a tripod. Seriously. While it’s possible to get good photos while you’re hanging on to your camera at arms-length, it’s a lot easier if you’ve got the freedom to move around a bit.
1- The settings in which you make pictures of people are important because they add to the viewer's understanding of your subject.
2- In some cases this means that the center of interest—the subject—is just a speck, too small to have any impact. Even when it is big enough to be decipherable, it usually carries little meaning.
1 - A mirror or some other reflective surface offers an even easier way to take a self-portrait. In most cases, the camera will be included in the scene (but this can help make a statement about your enthusiasm for photography).
2 - You can also capture a self-portrait by supporting your camera, then frame your picture and focus with a stand-in.

31,32, 35, 70-83
How do the images work together to tell a story? The different locations threw out the day/ months. Also the captions really help understand whats going on.
For the photos in which Ian is the main subject of the photos, in what tense are the verbs usually written? present
4. Now its your turn to write a few captions - DO NOT COPY THEIR WRITING
Second sentence:
Example:
Under the "Chapter 1: Signing Up" group of photos, look at the third photo in which Ian is wearing his cap and gown for graduation.
The caption reads: Ian studies his transcript and diploma as he departs the Bear Creek High School commencement at Red Rocks amphitheater
