Lenses and Photography Vocabulary.

I would use a telephoto lens when I am in a basket ball game so I can get more light in the players.

I would use a prime lens when there is not a lot of light and when i would want to see detail in clear nice photo.

I would use a wide-angle lens when there is a huge family and I want to get all, or when I when I'm taking the soccer team picture everyone has to fit.

Depth of Field - through which an object will produce a relatively distinct image it would focus in one part in blurry the other part.

Light  - the sensation produced by stimulation of the organs of sight.

Shadows Diffusion - a reflection or refraction of light or other electromagnetic radiation from an irregular surface or an erratic dispersion through a surface.

Exposure - presentation to view, especially in an open or public manner.

Aperture  - Also called aperture stop. An opening, usually circular, that limits the quantity of light that can enter an optical instrument.

Shutter speed - it is responsible for creating dramatic effects by either freezing action or blurring motion

ISO - was the indication of how sensitive a film was to light. It was measured in numbers. The lower the number the lower the sensitivity of the film and the finer the grain in the shots you’re taking.
